What Thought.care is
A private, encrypted space for your thoughts — a release ritual, notes, guided self-reflection exercises, passwords and challenges. Using it does not make us your therapist, doctor or lawyer: Thought.care is a self-care tool, not medical advice or treatment. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line.
Free use
The core experience is free: the ritual works without an account, and a free account keeps your private space on your device with generous limits (notes are kept for 7 active days plus a 7-day read-only grace period; 3 challenges and 5 passwords). Free can stay free forever.
Lifetime license
Lifetime is a one-time purchase — never a subscription — that unlocks encrypted sync across all your devices, removal of free-tier limits and permanent storage of your synced data for the lifetime of the product. If Thought.care ever shuts down, we will provide at least 60 days to export everything.
Refunds
If Lifetime is not for you, write to us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you — processed through Gumroad, no interrogation.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for your password and recovery key — with end-to-end encryption, we cannot recover them for you.
- Do not use the service to harm, harass or impersonate others (share cards contain only your own anonymous stats by design).
- Do not attempt to break or overload the service or other accounts.
As-is service
We work hard to keep Thought.care available and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
